Eleven teams, thirty-one clubs, and inter-house fixtures every Friday afternoon.
Sports
Physical education is timetabled for every student. Teams train after school and compete in inter-house and inter-school fixtures.
Cricket
Under-14 and under-18 squads. Nets three afternoons a week from February.
Football
Boys' and girls' teams, with a five-a-side league running through winter.
Basketball
Played in the covered hall year round; the strongest of our inter-school teams.
Table tennis
Four tables in the hall, open at break and after school without booking.
Athletics
Sprints, middle distance, relay and field events, peaking at the September gala.
Badminton
Two courts in the sports hall, with a staff-versus-students match each March.
Volleyball
Inter-house league in the second term for Grades 8 upwards.
Chess
A club and a team; the school has entered the city championship since 2019.
Clubs and societies
Clubs meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Every student from Grade 4 joins at least one.
