Professional development
Teaching improves when teachers are given time and feedback, so both are protected in our calendar rather than fitted around it.
We recruit for the September session between February and April. Applications for subject teaching posts, laboratory assistants and coaching roles are welcome at any time.
Send a CV and a covering letter explaining how you teach one topic you find difficult to teach well.
Join our faculty
- Six in-service training days each academic year
- Two peer observations per teacher per year, with written feedback
- Weekly departmental planning period built into the timetable
- Support for further qualifications, part-funded by the school
- A structured two-year induction for every newly appointed teacher
